It appears that the Palestinians and the Iranians are being encircled.
It is likely that Saudi Arabia influenced Bahrain and UAE to sign deals with Israel.
These peace deals represent an unprecedented shift, and breach in tradition with regards to the Palestinians.
I believe UAE and Bahrain went first to test the waters and lay the groundwork for future moves.
The new US-Israel-Sunni alignment are trying to deal with the Palestinians; cut them off from Iran support and force them into the worst possible peace agreement. They’re also trying to address the nuclear and oil conflict with Iran primarily against Saudi Arabia. Of course there’s also the proxy wars in Syria and Yemen to consider.
It is not clear what the full end goal is. The odds of a shooting war seem to be increasing.
